Happy Birthday Olivia!

Olivia has turned 1!!! We had two celebrations. The first was at my folks house on her Birthday (Christmas day) and the second was after we got home from the chaos of the Christmas festivities.
Here we are at my folks house getting ready to sing Happy Birthday! As you can tell someone is already a little on the cranky side.

Singing Happy Birthday!

Here's the Birthday girl after we tried to get her to play with her cake. She had enough!

Papaw calming her down
Probably not 15 minutes later she was out for a nap!

Back at the house we celebrated her birthday with Eric's family. She was a little happier this time around.
Opening the gifts!
Curious about that cupcake!
First things first!

Finally we got her to dig in, but only after Aunt Shannon gave her the spoon.

OMG! What a mess!

and even messier!

Christmas!!!

Finally, I am getting around to posting the Christmas Day blog. Christmas was spent in Ashland with mine and Eric's families.

This is a picture of our Christmas Tree. We were rather proud of it this year. Suprisingly Olivia really didn't bother it too much. She was far to busy trying to book it up the stairs before we could catch her.

Here is Olivia in her ball castle she got from her Nana.

She absolutely loved her Tinkerbell 4 Wheeler. She still can't hold down the button by herself, but that doesn't stop her from trying.

Here she is next to her kitchen set. I believe that to be her all time favorite gift. As soon as we get all of the kitchen stuff picked up she has it right back out.

I don't know who thought it was a good idea to give her chocolate pretzels. Now that I think about it.... it was probably me!

I can thank Papaw for the introduction to his sweet tea!

Gobble till you Wobble!

This year Eric, Olivia and I went in to our hometown to spend Thanksgiving with our extended families. First stop was to the Barker Thanksgiving, where Olivia slept the entire time and then over to Eric's Grandfather's house for yet another Thanksgiving dinner. Olivia was awake for the second so she did get to enjoy some good Thanksgiving day food.

Here we are arriving at Eric's grandfather's before the festivities begin.

She loved sitting in this chair. I think it made her feel like a big girl!

Here's Ryson! His shirt inspired this blog's title.

After dinner we let Olivia play with the ads as we were going through them and Boy did she have a time!

The piano was also some major fun!

Hope everyone's Thanksgiving was as great as ours!

Introducing Baby Ryson Calloway Baker

I would like to introduce Olivia's newest cousin Ryson Calloway Baker. He was born on Novemeber 11th at 1:58 pm weighing 7lbs 12oz and 19.25 inches long.
Here are some of the pics of his arrival and homecoming. Fair warning there are a few pictures of the c-section that are a bit graphic for those of you with weak bellies. I find them very interesting and to be honest I'm a little jealous I didn't think to ask someone to take some for mine. :)

Here's Aunt Shannon right before her c-section all ready to go.

Here he is getting ready to make his grand entrance.

Almost there!

There he is saying, "PUT ME BACK IN!!!!"
