Our trip to Lake Norris

This past weekend we went down to Lake Norris to visit Aunt Sherry and Uncle DJ. We always have such a nice relaxing time down there and the lake is one of the most beautiful and clean lakes I have ever seen. Here are some of the pictures from our trip.

Here's Olivia playing in the floor with her phone.

Teething Bites

The days of teething have finally arrived at the Barker-Day household and holy cow, do they stink. Miss Olivia got a really runny nose, which led to an ear infection, then a couple of days after her nose started to clear up, poof there's her first little toofer. We thought, finally it has broken through, we can start getting to sleep all the way through the night again. Boy O Boy were we wrong. Apparently, the pain does not stop there, but I will say that she did get somewhat better. That is until earlier this week. She started again with the waking up multiple times throughout the night, screaming bloody murder. I knew all of that screaming could not be because of a little tooth so the next day off to the doctor we went. Sure enough she had a throat infection. I wonder can all of this be caused by her teeth? Do all kids do this or does Olivia not have any tolerance what so ever for pain? It breaks my heart to see her hurt like that. The odd thing is that she is perfectly fine through the day, it's only at night that she can't handle it. It's terrible that we can't do anything for it other than keeping her hopped up on baby Tylenol.

I'll post a picture of her shiny new tooth, soon as it gets big enough to show up.

Until then I'll keep saying to myself. This too shall pass.
